Application of SOPTA CPE Mill Process Control Technology

The compositon and function of the SOPTA CPE process optimization system newly equipped to the CPE produciton line are introduced.The electric currents（removing the billet biting impact part）calculated by SOPTA system and the actual average current measurements are compared，and the advantages of SOPTA CPE process optimization system are analyzed.The analysis leads to such a conclusion that the electric currents calculated by SOPTA system and the actual current measurements are basically the same，and the system has the charateristics such as accurate calculation，automization as well as highly-efficient and safe operation.
