DESIGN AND APPLICATION OF SLOPE-HEARTH HEATING-FURNACE FOR TUBE BLANKS

Described in the paper are the main aspects of design of the slope-hearth heating furnace for billets for tube making in the 76mm hot-piercing mill line,including fuel selection, furnace type and features and production technical specification.Also introduced here are the operation and effectiveness of the said furnace.
