Application of Automatic Jet-flow Ultrasonic Detection System to SSAW Pipe Production

Focused on in the article is a description concerning the main aspects of the ECHO1150 jet-flow ultrasonic detection system as imported from German KD by Steel Pipe Manufacture Co., Bohai Petroleum Equipment Manufacture Co., Ltd., covering the equipment composition, the major technological data and relevant characteristics, setting of the equipment data and operation process. Also described is the actual operation effectiveness of the said detection system as used in the JCOE SSAW pipe production line.
