DEVELOPMENT OF 800 ALLOY U-SHAPED TUBE FOR STEAM-GENERATOR OF NUCLEAR POWER STATION

Described in the paper are the technical criteria for the 800 Alloy Tube for nuclear power station steam generator and the manufacturing process features and product quality concerning production of the 800 Alloy U-Shaped Tube by Shanghai No. 5 Steel （Group） Co.,Ltd. Compared with the similar tubes made by Sandvik Tube AB,Sweden, the China-made tube has been found almost the same as its Swedish counterpart in all the targets and up to the requirements set for nuclear power station service tubes.
