GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO OVERSEAS PRODUCTION OF DUAL-METAL CLAD STEEL PIPES

Described in the article are the overseas manufacturing processes and key techniques for and applications of various dual-metal clad steel pipes,including seamless tubes, cast tubes,welded clad steel tubescompound tubes, laser clad tubes and outernally-clad tubes. The co-authors point out that it is necessary for domestic industries in this field to improve on the manufacturing processes for and enlarge the capacity of dual-metal clad steel tubes in a bid to develop premium compound materials and expand application scope thereof.
