DEVELOPWiENT OF WATER-RESISTANT MANDREL LUBRICANT FOR MANDREL PIPE MILL

The author presents readers an introduction of the technological requirement to mandrel lubricant and a new water-resistant lubricant suitable for the bar operation of mandrel pipe mill. The comparative tests carried out in this regards have proven that he said water-resistant lubricant’s performance is better than other currently used lubricants for this purpose, meeting all the requirements to mandrel process lubrication for the mandrel pipe mill.
