A STUDY OF ON-LINE O.D.INSPECTION OF HOT-ROLLED SEAMLESS STEEL TUBES WITH PROJECTION TECHNIQUE

Described in the paper are the operational thoery of the system with halo-tungsten lamp as light source and CCD converter employing projection technique for on-line O.D.inspection of hotrolled seamless steel tubes and the relation between the design of the system's optical unit and inspection accuracy thereof.
