    • Analyzed in the paper is the tube wall thickness accuracy improvement as a result of modification of the second-piercing mill of the Φ400 mm plug pipe plant located at the seamless steel tube plant of Baogang I & S United Corp. It is concluded that taking such actions as increasing both the roll length and plug rolling zone will be helpful in heightening wall thickness accuracy of the tube.
