    Extrusion Process for Manufacturing Bimetal Clad Pipes

    • Elaborated in the paper are the manufacturing process, blank forming features and product characteristics of the bimetal clad pipe as made by means of metallurgical bounding. The application result of the pipe shows that with the extrusion process, the centrifugally-cast bimetal clad blank pipe can be turned into the bimetal clad seamless steel pipe which features such advantages as high interface metallurgical bonding strength, good material complementarity, satisfactory subsequent processing performance, and high operation safety, etc., being worth widely using in various industrial fields with corrosive service conditions like special boiler operations, highly corrosive gas/oil fields and chemical plants, or those with highly-wearing operation conditions such as thermal power plants and mines.
