Discussion on Front-end Jamming of Φ90mm Disc Type Elongating Mill

Causes for the front-end jamming of the Φ90 disc type elongating mill were discussed, and the loadings of both the first and the second bites of the work piece being rolled during the mill operation were analyzed, based on which, countermeasure against the said jamming trouble was made. After taking the said preventive action, the trouble has been almost eliminated.
