Research on and Practice Concerning Large-sized Seamless Austenitic Stainless Steel Tube

Elaborated in the article are the manufacturing process flow and control of relevant key techniques for the large-sized seamless austenitic stainless steel tubes of 300 series(i.e., TP304、TP316、TP321and TP347), including control of grain size of the bloom and heating schedule, and the in-process control of rolling, and the heat treatment processes.The results form inspections of the above mentioned tubes demonstrate that it is a completely practical method for producing large-sized austenitic stainless steel tubes to employ the rolling process of cone type piercer+reeling mill with a toe angle, being capable of producing good quality products.
