Abstract

The setting parameters of the three-roll bending plate internally-supporting spiral welded pipe mill are critical for ensuring satisfactory and consistent quality of the welded pipe formation. Based on the theoretic design formula and empirical analysis with respect to the said parameters, a calculation formula and determination method for actual operation of the mill are put forward to provide a reliable basis for consistent formation of the spiral welded pipe.
