    R & D of T92 Seamless Steel Pipe for Servicing Ultra-supercritical Power Plant

    • Based on relevant requirements as specified under ASME SA 213/SA 213M—2013 and GB 5310—2008,major properties of the T92 seamless pipe are analyzed and tested,including chemical composition,ambient mechanical properties,hi-temperature mechanical properties,rupture strength and metallographic structures,etc. The results show that the T92 pipe is in possession of all the property values up to the requirements of applicable specifications,and has 625℃1×105h rupture strenght extrapolation value as 89.8 MPa(standard value:87.5 MPa),and 650℃1×105h rupture strenght extrapolation value as 67.2 MPa(standard value:61.0 MPa),both being higher than what is required by GB 5310—2008 for the 10Cr9MoW2VNbBN steel.
