Application of Induction Heating Technology to Steel Pipe Heat Treatment Process

Described in the paper is the technology of steel tube heat treatment based on the theory of heating via medium frequency current. The heat treatment process is greatly superior to that of the fuel-heating (natural gas or air gas) type due to its advantages such as low initial investment in the equipment,environment-friendliness,easy process control and production arrangement. Actual operation result proves that it is a quite practical technological way to employ the medium frequency induction heating process for steel tube heat treatment.
