APPLICATION OF DUAL-PHASE STEEL TO MANUFACTURE OF COLD-DRAWN PIPES FOR ONE-PIECE HYDRAULIC PILLAR CYLINDER

Characteristics of the dual-phase steel are described;excellent properties of the said steel are investigated;σ-ε characteristic curve of the 10MnSi dual-phase steel is compared with that of the high strength, 27SiMn low alloy steel, also made are comparisons concerning mechnical properties and process performances between the said dual-phase steel and the pipe made thereof.Then, it is concluded that the said dual-phase steel is applicable for producing cold-drawn pipes for hydraulic pillar cylinder, which is economically profitable on a comprehensive basis.
