  • The sequential pulse combustion control technique is used to eliminate the shortcomings of the conventional combustion control process for the tempering furnace for steel pipe heat treatment such as big accuracy deviation of the controlled temperature and uneven distribution of temperature field in the hearth which are caused by certain temperature measurement and adjustment operations of the furnace. Detailed in the paper are the main aspects of the sequential pulse combustion control system,including the configuration,operating principle and dynamic performance,etc. Thanks to its advantages such as slight fluctuation of the controlled temperature and less fuel consumption,the said system is worthy spreading.
