Abstract
The article describes the inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy for determining the non-prime elements in the ferro-alloy, covering such aspects as the test conditions, measurement range for the non-prime elements, operational procedure as well as the test result.A comparison with other analyzing processes for the same purpose shows that the said spectroscopy is capable of providing analytical correctness and accuracy up to relevant Chinese standard with respect to chemical analysis and in compliance with the result of test conducted with corresponding wet chemical analysis process.
