A Method for Setting-up of RPM Schedule of Stretch Reducing Mill

Based on the operation of the company's imported tube stretch-reducing mill with a centralized drive system, a new calculation method for RPM of the drive motor was built up, and analysis on difference between the calculated values and the actual values from relevant operation was conducted. The result shows that the said RPM schedule setting-up method is practical and reliable.
