    • Described here in the article are the main aspects of the P280GH seamless steel pipe for nuclear power plant with pressurized-water reactor, including the property characteristics, the manufacture process scheme and related key techniques, etc. Based on the results of the chemical analysis and structural property tests as conducted to the said pipe, it is concluded that the P280GH seamless steel pipe for nuclear power plant with pressurized-water reactor as developed by Pangang Group Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co., Ltd. is satisfactory to the RCC-M-specified requirements in terms of chemical composition and mechanical property, and the need for carbon manganese steel seamless pipes to be used in the steam system and nuclear auxiliary systems of the nuclear power plant with pressurized-water reactor. The manufacturing process for this type of pipe is worth spreading in the field of nuclear power-purposed pipe-making.
