A New Method for Inspection of SAWL Pipe Inner Weld Seam

Analyzed here in the paper are the problems as staying with the conventional method for inspection inner weld seam of the SAWL pipe.Accordingly proposed is a new method for the same purpose which is in fact a system combining the inner weld slag-cleaning unit and the inner weld inspection unit.Also described are the main aspects of this new system, including the structure, the major technical data, the working principle, and the advantages and disadvantages.Compared with the conventional method, the new method features such advantages as low labor intensity, high inspection efficiency, and direct viewing of reliable inspection result etc.Moreover the system is operated very effectively on the actual production site.
