Abstract
Analyzed is the hydrogen-embrittlement sensitivity of the HP13Cr, 13Cr and 3Cr pipes presented under the conditions of different temperatures and dry/humid gas(H2 and CO2 combination)environment by means of the SSRT method, and the scanning electron microscope(SEM)and the energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(EDS).The testing result reveals the facts as follows. In the dry gas environment, the temperature produces little effect on the sensitivities of the said three different pipes, while in the 120℃ dry gas environment, the sequence of hydrogenembrittlement sensitivity coefficients of the said pipes is HP13Cr<13Cr<3Cr;And in the humid gas environment, due to the combined effects by the Cl-concentration and the CO2 water solution, the hydrogen embrittlement coefficient of the 13Cr pipe is increased, but in case of any testing conditions, none of the said coefficients has got higher than 25%, which can be interpreted as no trend of hydrogen-embrittlement exists.Based on the simulated testing conditions of the hydrogen-containing gas storage, the 13Cr series tubular material is recommended for actual applications.
