Application and Development of Informationized Management System in Steel Pipe Enterprise

Briefed in the paper are the definitions and application scopes of the enterprise informationized management system and MES（Manufacturing Execution System）.The application situation of steel tube enterprise informationized management system is introduced with actual cases.Focused on are the general framework of the MES and its main function modules including the logistics tracking and data acquisition module，the manufacturing and planning management module，the quality management module and the statistics reporting module，etc.Relevant analysis result shows that in the future，the MES will be developed towards quality control and equipment MRO so as to realize remote control of the production and operation activities in a bid to tremendously enhance economic benefit and market competitiveness of the enterprise.
