AN ELEMENTARY INTRODUCTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE THREE-ROLL PIPE ROLLING MILL （Ⅱ）

The introduction covers a briefing about the develooment of the three-roll pipe mill abroad, the latest situation rogarding this kind of mill in the world as well as the pipe rolling process with the mill. Also dealt with in this paper are detailed description about the main technological features of the φ108mm Three-Roll Pipe Rolling Plant located at Henyang Steel Tube Works and the author’s elementary opinions with respect to the modification of the φ76mm and φ100mm plug mills and development of the three-roll in China.
