Abstract
The analytical formula for determining the forming section length and forming inclined angle of the double-layer coil-welded tube is deducted on the ground of the strip edge longitudinal tensile deformation and the forming consistence in the course of thin walled tube formation. The said formula can be used to provide the theoretical basis for the engineering of the double-layer coil-welded pipe forming mill and the pass design therefor.
