TRIPLE-COATING SYSTEM FOR STEEL TUBE SURFACE PROTECTION

The paper presents an introduction of the triple-coating system for surface protective treatment of steel linepipes for oil/gas transport. The said system employs such techniques as descaling by shot-blasting, preheating via medium-frequency induction, electrostatic spray coating of epoxy resin powder and squeezed-polyoxyethylene surface-coating. The system is more environmentally compatible and ensures protective coating with consistent performance.
