TRIAL USE OF A NEW LUBRICANT FOR MANDREL BAR

Introduced in the paper is the trial use of the new DS1010 mandrel bar lubricant developed by Teimigao Graphite Co. Ltd.,Changzhou in the Φ250mm Accu-roll Pipe Mill at Chengdu Seamless Steel Tube Co.,Ltd. The result has shown that the said new mandrel bar lubricant is in possession of good performance which can bring about consistent motor current,smooth rolling operation and better outer/inner surface roughness of the tube.
