CROSS-ROLLING GROOVE AND VELOCITY PROFILE ON ROLL SURFACE

The paper establishes the mathematical model for the relationship.between roll groove and rolling space of the crossrolling mill with roll axle fixed arbitrarily,which results in a mathematical equation of velocity profile on roll surface.The method can be applied to the design of the cross-rolling roll groove and the kinematic analysis and research of the rolling process.
