RATIONAL DESIGN OF PIERCING MANDREL PLUG

It is delt with in the article that a rational design of the piercing mandrel plug must cope with the characteristics of the deformation area under piercing,meanwhile the compensating angle required when cross rolling and an appropriate plug shape should be taken into account.Also analyzed is the determination of the relevant major parameters.
