    R&D of Cryogenic Seamless Steel Pipe for -100℃ Service

    • The low-temperature impact toughness and corrosion resistance of the cryogenic seamless steel pipe for -100 ℃ service are ensured by means of proper control of chemical composition design, and control of processes of steelmaking, pipe rolling and pipe heat treatment.It is emphasized that for elbow products as processed with seamless steel pipes have to be appropriately heat treated to make sure that quality of the elbow is no less than that of the base metal.The cryogenic pipes as developed are in possession of such advantages as large size range, excellent low-temperature toughness and corrosion resistance, etc., which ensure low-temperature service safety thereof.
