    • Discussed is the on-line normalization heat treatment of the Ф114.3 mm×6.35 mm 36Mn2V casing, and test of sub-temperature quench process thereof as carried out. The test result shows that the subtemperature quench process enables the said casing to have satisfactory comprehensive mechanical properties and meet relevant requirements for the N80 steel grade as specified in API Spec. 5CT.
