MEASURES TAKENFOR PRODUCTION OF WELDED PIPES WITH SHORT HOT-ROLLED STRIP ON A BASIS OF MINUS TOLERANCE

Introduced in the paper are the main technical measures taken to produce welded pipes with short hot-rolled strip on a basis of minus tolerance.It is emphasized that when producing hotrolled strip steel,any gauge deviation must be well controlled within the minus limit of the tolerance as specified in relevant specification for the product and that for welded pipe production,rate of specific-length products should be as high as possible so as to fulfill the technical norm as required to bring the producer satisfactary economy.
