Comparative Analysis of Anti-corrosion Behaviors of Drill Pipe

Comparative analysis of the anti-corrosion behaviors of the drill pipes made of the 36CrNiMo4 and the 4130H steels are conducted by means of oxygen corrosion test，CO₂ corrosion test and SSC test.The test results shows that the oxygen corrosion rates of the 36CrNiMo4 pipe and the 4130H pipe are basically the same，and that the CO₂ corrosion resistance of the 36CrNiMo4 pipe is better than that of the 4130H pipe，whereas the SSC resistance of the former is remarkably less than that of the later.
