Modification on Design of Accu-Roll Pipe Mill Guide Disc Drive System

Analyzed in the paper is the relationship between the barreled tooth shape parameters of the barreled tooth coupling under the operation conditions like high torque,big displacement angle and the limited tactical diameter.As a result,tips and methods for a special design of the coupling is put forward to meet the said operation conditions,including the structure of special cross-sectional shapes like shell,increasing torque with hollow cross-section torsional characteristics and prolonging service life of the coupling by means of changing number of the engaging teeth and their engaging strength.
