Technological Study on Deep-processing of Linepipe for Deep-sea Service

Briefed in the essay is the present situation of deep-sea oil and gas exploration industry, and also elaborated are the application and characteristics of the linepipe for deep-sea service. Moreover the technical requirement differences between deep processing of the linepipe for deep-sea service and that of the ordinary linepipe are summarized in terms of geometric dimensions, hydrostatic testing, flaw NDT, product traceability, and automatic measurement, etc. Some problems staying with present operation activities of processing the linepipe for deep-sea service that need to be solved are put forward, and accordingly suggestions are proposed. A newly-started up production line for the said linepipe is described as an example, involving such aspects as the process plan, the equipment selection and relevant features, etc.
