DESIGN METHOD FOR SQUARE TUBE INSCRIBED PASS

Described in the article is the method for desing of square tube pass in the rounding-squaring process. The said design method focuses on using the final dimensions of the square tube as inscribed dimensions of the deformation roll. Surface quality of the tube being rolled can be considerably improved by means of properly designing the structure of the pass with the length-width ratio of the final tube based on the pass calculated via a simplified calculation formula.
