RESEARCH AND PRACTICE OF SHOT-BLAST PROCESS FOR SURFACE TREATMENT OF 800 ALLOY U-SHAPED STEEL TUBE

For production of final 800 alloy U-shaped steel tubes used for steam generator heat-conduction,surface shot-blast treatment is a must. The paper involves a description concerning the features of the shot-blast system developed by Shanghai No. 5 Steel （Group）Co.,Ltd. and research on the shot-blast technique. Relevant operational practice has proven that the said system and the experimental process are practical and all the major technical data of the shot-blast treated tubes are up to related technical specification,almost in compliance with the specification of similar Sweden-made tubes.
