RESEARCH AND APPLICATIONS TO GLOBAL PLUGS ON PLUG MILLS

The roiling process with a global Plug is analyzed, roll pass design and adiustments when rolling pipes with a global plug are described, qualities of pipes rolled with a global plug or conic plug are compared, and the result shows that the dimension precisions of shells can be improved by using a global plug.
