An Analysis on Corrosion and Rupture Charactersof the Steel Tubing Used in Natural Gas Well

    • An analysis on corrosion and rupture characters of the steel tubing in natural gas well, which are different to those of the steel tubing in oil well, is done by use of X diffraction test and the grey relational analysis method. The result indicates that the CO2 and H2O contained in yielded gas caused electrochemical corrosion on tubing and the erosion action of yielded gas accelerated the corrosion process, which are main reason causing the perforation and rupture of tubing.
