Abstract
The experiences with eliminating non-uniform longitudinal wall thickness in thin-walled tube rolling on a φ140mm plug mill are described and the experiment shows that the adoption of shell temperature compensation before rolling makes it possible to improve non-uniform longitudinal wall thickness from 0.3mm down to 0.06mm.
