Application of Automatic Identification Technology to Large-sized SAW Pipe Production Line

Described in the essay are application of barcode and RFID to material identification in the largesized SAW pipe production line，and their integrations with MES. Pipe number information can be read automatically bar code-scanning device or the RFID system as located at the key processing points of the production line，and then compared with the information in the production management system so as to ensure correct in-process tracing and tracking of the product，and thus improve the product QA level.
