    • Appropriate hot-straightening process will reduce the residul stress of the casing acting as one of the key elements affecting crash-resistance of the pipe. Based on the analytic measurement of residual stress of the home-made 244.5mm × 11.99mm TP110T superanti-crash casing, studies were made in such aspects as occurrance, measuring and control methods of the residual stress as well as the influence by the said stress on crashing pressure.
