MODIFICATION ON φ76 SEAMLESS STEEL TUBE ROLLING PLANT AT HONGDU STEEL WORKS

The paper gives a brief introduction to the modification on the above said φ76 seamless steel lube plant based on a modified 60～80mm Assel rolling mill introduced from abroad, covering the design of the equipment used to complete the plant and the commissioning with respect to the said Assel mill. An estimation about the economic benefit is made. The article says that the above mentioned Assel rolling mill is particularly suitable for modification of small seamless steel tube rolling plants in China.
