Abstract

Based on the analysis of the structure and the kinematic features of a PSW mill, the roll speed equations and the conditions under which the workpieces couldn’t rotate during rolling are established.The longitudinal and tangential sliding coefficients are derived through the tube-rolllng experiments on a φ50mm PSW mill.
