RESEARCH ON REDUCING INTERNAL FOLDS OF STAINLESS STEEL TUBES FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING YIELD

A deep analysis is carried out for the causes of internal folds of stainless steel tubes formed during piercing. It is emphasized that provided proper technological parameters are set up and operation requirements are strictly followed, internal folds will be greatly reduced so as to enhance the yield considerably.
