HI-CR COMPOUND STRAIGHTENING ROLL

The development and operation practise of the Hi-Cr compound straightening roll are introduced in the article. The practice has brought a conclusion that for rolling steel tubes or sections, the Hi-Cr compound straightening roll has a service life 20-50 times longer that the coldhardened cast rion straightening roll and 2-10 times longer than the forged steel straightening roll.
