Abstract
Established with related mathematic model related to method is the relationship between the stand linkage, the counterweight linkage and the crank angle of the vertical sliding block balancing system of the LG90 cold-rolling pipe mill. And the main parameters of the said system are analyzed from the kinetics point of view, and relevant parameters are optimized. A new method and idea is provided for analyzing such balancing system, involving optimizing the design, selecting proper counterweight mass, segment mass, and the product of distance from the segment mass center to the rotating shaft, etc.
