    Effect by Rolling Process on Shape of X70 Pipeline-purposed Steel Plate

    • In order to improve the rolled shape of the X70 pipeline-purposed steel plate,the effect by rolling process on the plate shape is studied without adopting control of the bending force and the roll profile.The reduction rate of the rolling pass,the rolling force and the rolling rate are all optimized so as to obtain satisfactory finished shape of the rolled plate.The analysis result reveals that the rather low strength,poor low-temperature toughness of the plate,and waved plate during the finish rolling process are apt to produce due to even rolling force distribution of the finish rolling pass;and therefore properly distributing the reduction rates of the last three to four finish rolling passes is able to reduce the distributed rolling force,and the convexity fluctuation so as to get the satisfactory plate shape;and appropriately reducing the rolling rate will accordingly lessen the deformation resistance to get evener deformation of the plate,and fewer waved plates.
