Improvement on Manufacture Process of Assel Pipe Mill Roll

Causes for high crack frequency of the home-made roll bush of the Assel pipe mill are investigated. Service life of the mill roll has been prolonged, and higher efficiency obtained due to such measures taken as centrifugal casting, more stringent operation procedures and a better bush-shaft assembly type of the roll.
