Experiment on Manufacture of Hi-strength Tubing with Non-Quenched & Tempered Steel

To meet the crucial requirements for steels used to make tubings for oil exploration, technological experiments were conducted involving making N80 hi-strength tubing with a non-quenched & tempered steel (CT80). The result shows that the said N80 tubing made of St. CT80 is in all-round conformity with the requirements of API Spec.5CT and API Spec. 5B, and that the manufacturing process is simplified, and the operation conditions improved.
