Technology for Producing 20G Steel Billet for Pipe-making with EAF-LF-HCC Integrated Process and Product Quality

Described in the paper is the development of 20G steel billet for tube-making by Hengyang Steel Tube（Group）Corporation Ltd.with the EAF-LF-HCC integrated manufacturing process,detailing the measures taken to control the elements involved in the entire manufacturing process and responsible for the properties of the said 20G steel billet.All the properties of the 20G steel billet and the steel tube made thereof are in compliance with the requirements as specified in relevant technical agreement,which has proven that the above mentioned manufacturing process is practical.
